Seattle March for Science
The March for Science champions robustly funded and publicly communicated science as a pillar of human freedom and prosperity. We unite as a diverse, nonpartisan group to call for science that upholds the common good and for political leaders and policy makers to enact evidence based policies in the public interest.

March for Science Seattle's goal is to create an open and welcoming organization to connect scientists and non-scientists in order to improve scientific understanding throughout the general public. We’d like to help bring science back to being a voter’s issue, and something that everyone values. The March for Science is a place to encourage discussion and learning between scientists and non-scientists on a local and personal level. We want to break the perceptions of a “scientific elite” and give science back to the people, show everyone that scientists are working people too, and that they are your neighbors and colleagues.
