Cascadians Against Hate Coalition Forming

In a statement released, the Cascadians Against Hate Coalition stated that it "does not promote, permit, or condone any behaviors or actions of a sexist, racist, derogatory, or discriminatory nature . . . Moreover, we outright condemn all hate groups, their actions and ideas, as they run contrary to the core Cascadian bioregional beliefs and tenets. These groups threaten to undermine the sacred relationship between biodiversity and nature, which is the crux of life."

The Thin Green Line: An Interactive Map to Our Successes

In 2010, the Northwest region saw its first proposal for large-scale coal exports. Shortly after, a policy and research non-profit called Sightline started tracking the region's fossil fuel transportation. From libraries hosting Cascadia Displays, to barbeques, concerts and events - we had an absolutely lovely week. Our executive director also helped host two ask me anything's in Reddit, several lovely articles about Cascadia & Bioregionalism, and an interview in the Seattle MET also came out that week!
