We had another successful Cascadia Convergence earlier this month, over the weekend of June 9th. This year it was held at Mount Rainier Ranch, a beautiful property about a half hour from Mount Rainier National Park in Washington. We had a great turn out of about 100 passionate people. Music and workshops happened each day and into the night, with a wonderful community kitchen and fire.
It was a lovely weekend where people with similar interests in the Cascadia movement were able to meet face to face, connect, and celebrate. The energy and excitement that was present was greatly appreciated. It was a truly unforgettable weekend that left us at CN! energized and excited to start planning for CC '18. It's events like this, with the incredible people who want to discuss and celebrate our bioregionalism and community, that are the driving force for CN!.
We would like to give another big shout out to the Mount Rainier Ranch for hosting us, and being so hospitable and kind. This year's Convergence was many things; a place to connect with others, create, inspire, learn, relax, and so much more. Once again, THANK YOU to everyone that attended this year and helped make this event all that it was!
