Children need to connect with books at an early age to ignite their interest in reading. It can be difficult for parents to provide reading materials at home or make regular library visits. Run by a librarian who knows what kids like to read, Kids Read Books collects and purchases new and gently used high-interest titles to distribute throughout East Lewis County in partnership with nonprofit organizations. Kids Read Books also conducts interactive storytime programs like Storybook Theater to get kids excited about reading!
