Join Vibrant Palette Arts Center (VPAC), a project of CascadiaNow!, for their second annual Allies In Art Silent Auction Fundraiser on Saturday, September 23rd. VPAC in Seattle serves adult artists with developmental, mental, and physical disabilities by providing a professional studio environment for artistic growth in a social atmosphere among peers. They foster a creative space in which these artists can experience fulfillment through self-expression, and engage the community through exhibition of the artists’ work. Vibrant Palette offers their artists a six hour day program one day a week within the Pratt Arts Center community, as well as community outings, art programming, and art shows to feature their artists’ work. The program began this year, on January 11, 2017.

To ensure the VPAC program will continue to grow and flourish in the community, they are hosting our second annual Allies In Art silent auction to raise funds. Last years event involved over forty artists of all abilities willing to donate work for this silent auction, and this year VPAC hopes to expand the group of contributing artists even further. All ten Vibrant Palette artists will have a work of art available for purchase at Saturday's event! The money raised at this event will go towards funding rent, art materials, and scholarships for VPAC program participants.

This year's event will begin at 6 PM with a VIP Hour. This hour will include two drink tickets, including a champagne pour from silk aerialist Anna Clara Buoyant, and one free raffle ticket to use in our raffle of goods donated by local businesses. A live performance by upcoming band Gypsy Temple, as well as a live painter will set the mood and give you access to peruse and bid the silent art auction an hour before general admission begins. During theVIP hour, Vibrant Palette Artist Joey Joseph will be styling and directing a photo booth as well.

At 7 pm, doors will open to general admission. The night will continue to be full of fun with performances by silk aerialist Anna Clara Buoyant, local rapper Fantasy A, and band Girl, Girl. In addition to the silent auction, there will be a photo booth and raffle prizes will be given away. Alcohol will be available for purchase at the bar.
