The M.A.R.S.H.E.L.L.E Project
From the project founder, Marshall Jordon:
“Mission Statement
The M.A.R.S.H.E.L.L.E. Project was born from the truth that foster youth deserve more than survival. They deserve joy, opportunity, and a childhood rich in experience. I created this project because I know what it feels like to lose everything overnight. I know the fear, the confusion, and the way the world suddenly feels smaller when the system steps in.
My mission is to ensure that young people never feel that small again. Through horses, mentorship, life skills, and real world experiences, we give youth the chance to heal, to dream, and to see themselves as worthy of a future filled with possibility. Every child who enters the foster care system deserves to enter a community that invests in them rather than limits them.
This project is my promise to the next generation. You deserve joy. You deserve support. You deserve to experience the world in big, beautiful ways. And we are here to make that possible.
Our Purpose
M My story is the foundation, turning lived hardship into purpose.
A A myriad animals reminding me that healing comes through the unconditional bond of
dogs, horses, and creatures that love without judgment.
R Resilient rose represents my inner child who survived and kept blooming.
S Strength from struggle is what fuels me, transforming pain into power.
H Healing heart guides me to care for myself and others.
E Empowered expression is the voice I found after years of silence.
L Little Marshelle is the girl inside me. This project uplifts and protects.
L Legacy of love is what I am building, ensuring her fight lives on.
E Edith Felix, the woman that loved me like a mother. The best grandma.”
A rose in every rider. A future filled with possibility.
