Climb for Refugees Climb-a-thon

  • Vertical World Seattle 2330 W Commodore Way Seattle, Washington 98199 (map)

Come support the International Rescue Center’s (IRC) first Climb-a-Thon! This event will benefit the IRC’s new climbing mentorship program for refugee teens, offered in partnership with Vertical Generation, a project of CascadiaNow!. Through weekly visits to the climbing gym, students practice English language skills, get help with homework, and learn to rock climb with the support of a volunteer mentor. Participate in the climb-a-thon to help keep this awesome program going for another year!

Come to the Climb-a-thon to enjoy food trucks, free drinks, raffles, music, games, and more while climbers raise funds to help refugee and immigrant youth thrive in their new communities. Open to all ages and admission is just $20 -- free for climbers who raise $20+ in pledges!

Sign up as a climber, pledge to support a participant, or make a one-time donation to the event here:
