5 Easy Ways to Get Involved:

1. Join our Email List - Join our email list or newsletter to receive once a month updates and stay involved. We also use these lists to send out important announcements about projects and events which may come up from time to time.

2. Register for our Website - Sign into our website and join the discussion on our blogs, social network and forums to highlight the important issues that matter to you (and bookmark it!). Get active in the discussion and help us create the Cascadia you would like to see. Registering for our site provides you with a powerful set of tools to engage with our diverse community and network of individuals interested in our group. After logging in, check out 'Your Menu' on the right to easily access some of these features and upload images, make a blog post, forum post, or create a group on our insight social network.

3. Join our Social Networks - Join us on Facebook, Twitter, Reddit and our other social networking sites, and make invite your friends and others who you think might be interested. Our number one goal at the moment is simply getting people aware of our movement! Think about getting active on these sites. Facebook is a great way to meet others involved and spread the word, while sites like Reddit are news aggregators and good places to post any fun links that you may come across.

4. Join or Start a Regional Chapter/Student Group - If you are interested in working with our organization, please visit our volunteer page and check out our Chapters and Groups section to see if there is a group near you. Join people in almost a dozen areas throughout the bioregion by becoming a regional coordinator, or helping us establish a CascadiaNow! Chapter or Student Group in your area today.

5. Other Ways to Help - There are many other things you can do to help! Visit our projects page and volunteer to help us on a wide array of issues. Join or start a new Cascadia related project by committing to help us create pamphlets, literature and artwork or join one of our larger projects. Create a working group on our wiki or user groups page, and help us by taking action into your own hands. We wholeheartedly support your endeavors, no matter what they may be, and look forward to working alongside you in the future.

Our Goal:

It is our goal to create a network of people interested in Cascadia to establish an enduring framework, foundation and platform for a real political movement to take root here in the Pacific Northwest. If you'd like to become a part of the Cascadian Independence Project, you can play an integral role no matter your age, background, or location. We firmly believe that embracing different strategies and solutions is a key principle to expanding the idea of Cascadia, as well as remaining relevant, resilient and effective.
