Our website now features a wide range of ways for users to connect with other people interested in the idea of Cascadia, and contribute content both to our overall website and online community. After registering for our website, users can now:
Simply create an account to the right of the screen, bookmark our site for convenient use in the future, and join the discussion!
After you log in you will now have access to a user menu that will have shortlinks making all of the above features easy to access. Please, after you create an account, spend some time familiarizing yourself with these features (they're far from perfect, but we'll try and continue to make them more accessible). These are new features for us too, so if there's anything that you feel we are missing, please let us know either in the forum or social network group!.
You can change your account details at any point from this menu, and think about uploading an image and adding some info about yourself for other members to see.
In the future, our website will be driven by content submitted by our users. The Cascadian Independence Project firmly believes in organizing as best we can along open source and collaborative guidelines, and in the future we will be setting up a Cascadia Wiki Authorship project to power our online content. All users will be welcome to contribute and submit information they feel relevant to Cascadia. We firmly believe in empowering every supporter out there to help craft this movement the way they would like to see it, all that we ask is to please be respectful of others opinions and contributions! Treat others work as you would like your own treated.
